Design Vision: Transcending the Ordinary

As a designer, I'm constantly on the lookout for materials and concepts that can redefine the boundaries of lighting design. Lucite, with its remarkable transparency and modern allure, was the perfect muse for this project. I yearned to craft a chandelier that would be more than a simple source of light. I wanted it to be a visual spectacle, a floating arrangement of ribbons that seemed to come alive with light.

The inspiration for the flowing, ribbon - like structure of the chandelier was drawn from the elegance of a flowing stream and the grace of a ballerina's movements. I aimed to break free from the traditional, often cumbersome chandelier designs and bring forth a piece that appeared weightless yet exuded a sense of grandeur. Each curve and turn of the Lucite ribbons was carefully calculated to capture and disperse light in the most enchanting way possible. I wanted to create a lighting fixture that would be a conversation starter, a focal point that would draw the eye and hold it in wonder.
